GENTLE YOGA & MEDITATION at WALDEN POND STARTS ON FRIDAY MORNING, JUNE 2nd!
Welcome to Yoga and Meditation classes in a circle of pines at the far side of the pond on Friday mornings this summer! We are back to Friday mornings by popular demand. This is the 8th year of leading these healthy mini expeditions. Annie Gray will be graciously teaching with me.


INFORMATION:
We will meet on the steps of the new and beautiful Walden Pond State Park Visitor Center at 7:30 AM on all Fridays this summer until Labor Day weekend. (not including August 25th)

After meeting at the Visitor's Center at 7:30 AM, we will start out on the path around the pond at 7:35 AM to the yoga grove next to Thoreau's Cove, near Thoreau's cabin site. It's an easy 30 minute walk in silent reverence for the beauty and spirit of Nature.

Class starts at 8:10 AM with a stillness meditation. Our program of gentle yoga, silent walking meditation, refreshing contemplation of trees, poetry, and all around peacefulness brings great satisfaction, it is well worth getting up early for!

Class is finished at 9:00 AM and costs $10:00 (cash or check). Bring water, a beach towel and a blanket to cushion the forest floor while sitting and lying down.

Parking $8 for a MA vehicle, $10 for non MA plates for all day.

If you can, stay afterwards with our group and swim, bring your breakfast! This is a valuable way to spend time for your own well being, trust me!
